Do I need a referral from a doctor to obtain counselling?
No – referrals from a family physician are not required. We accept both direct referrals from clients, as well as third party referrals from insurers, lawyers and case managers. We offer assessment and treatment services to individuals, couples and families.
Are your services covered by my insurance provider?
We find that 95% of the time, third party insurance providers are happy to cover our associates under extended benefits for a Registered Psychologist, as all associates work under Dr. Samra’s supervision and therefore have her R.Psych number on their receipts.
We recommend prior to your initial consultation calling your insurance provider and asking “Are counselling services provided under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist eligible for coverage?”
What are the costs associated with sessions?
Our counselling session rates are $140 for a 50-minute session and $150 for couples/family sessions.
What are your policies for rebooking appointments & cancellations?
If you need to cancel or change this appointment, please let us know two days prior to the appointment as per our 48 hour cancellation policy, by contacting your clinician or our Clinical Coordinator at email@example.com. Late cancellations or a ‘no-show’ may result in being charged the full session fee.
