Virginia Lundy is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Masters of Science in Behavioural Psychology from the University of Liverpool. Virginia has a professional background in management with Corrections Canada, including managing a detox and treatment centre. She has specialized training in addiction and trauma, and is trained in motivational interviewing and mindfulness approaches. Virginia has particular expertise in working with trauma and substance use/abuse/addiction. SInce 2001, she has been supporting people, both individually and in groups, work towards the best version of themselves. She has helped people struggle with issues such as:
- Substance abuse/addiction
- Stress & time management (procrastination)
- Low self esteem
- Relationship issues
Her goal is to aid clients in the process of understanding that they are never confined to their present state and that the past does not have to define them. Through years of professional experience and with the wisdom gained from personal struggles with trauma and debilitating anxiety, she is determined to support and help people.
