Virginia Lundy is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Masters of Science in Behavioural Psychology from the University of Liverpool. Virginia has a professional background in management with Corrections Canada, including managing a detox and treatment centre. She has specialized training in addiction and trauma, and is trained in motivational interviewing and mindfulness approaches. Virginia has particular expertise in working with trauma and substance use/abuse/addiction.

Tasneem Kassam

Tasneem Kassam is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University, a B.A in Psychology and Family Studies, and a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution.  Tasneem uses a variety of techniques including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapies, mindfulness and motivational interviewing in order to help clients find their own path to new ways of being. Practicing from an integrative and collaborative framework, Tasneem believes all clients are unique and aims to encompass a non-judgemental approach to assist clients in achieving their goals.

Shivani Thakur is a CBT & Parenting Coach with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Victoria. She currently works as a Bounce Back Coach with the Canadian Mental Health Association and has been an active volunteer with the Vancouver Island Crisis Line. She is certified in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training and SmarterU E-Learning Program Administration. Shivani has particular expertise providing telehealth-based CBT coaching for anxiety and depression, as well as parenting-skills coaching.

Christie Atkins completed her B.A in Communication from Simon Fraser University. Having always loved psychology and helping people, she decided to go back to school with the ultimate goal of pursuing a Masters in Counselling Psychology. In addition to providing research and clinical administrative support to the Dr. Joti Samra & Associates and MyWorkplaceHealth teams, Christie volunteers for a sexual assault crisis line, and also leads marketing and content efforts at an internal communications and collaboration software company. Given her background in technology, Christie is interested in how telehealth services could change the way people access mental health services around the world.

In addition to experience working at psychology clinics, she has communications expertise, and experience working with local entrepreneurs in the realm of perfecting their marketing and social media strategies. Kassandra is interested in how the importance of mental health and self-care can be prioritized within the workplace.
