Aldergrove’s financial families are taking on a very business-based challenge.
As the filming winds down in December for the reality TV show Million Dollar Neighbourhood, the participating families will take part in Pitch Day.
On Nov. 30, they’ll host Aldergrove Investor Forum – Pitch Day, and are looking for people to pitch themselves, their products, or their businesses.
“If money is what is keeping you from taking your Aldergrove business to the next level or preventing you from launching your local product or service, brush up that elevator pitch and register for your chance to partner with one of our surprise investors,” said coordinator Annette McArthur. In an effort to continue to increase
the community’s net worth, interested Aldergrove parties are invited to pitch to a handful of wealthy investors. They need to contact McArthur at aldergrovepr@ gmail.com. Pitch Day runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. More information will be provided to those who are accepted.
Pitch Day is the latest challenge for the 100 families that signed on with the reality show aimed at increasing not only their personal wealth and financial education, but altering Aldergrove’s economy as well.
Million Dollar Neighbourhood is scheduled to air on the Oprah Winfrey Network Canada in 2012.
Previous challenges included a mass decluttering garage sale, an auto sale and transportation analysis, charity events, and more.
